The Highlights
A small gallery of my favorites from recent engagements, couple sessions, and proposals. We document love all over the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island! If you're looking for a photographer to document you and your significant other while making it a fun experience then we are the perfect fit for you! Check out some of our recent work and get inspired for how we can document your love story. :)
Hallie & Liam - Downtown Victoria & Gonzales Beach
Hallie had a vision for her engagement session and it was an absolute pleasure to bring it to life with her and Liam. This shoot took place over three locations; the Humboldt Bar, downtown Victoria, and at Gonzales Beach. Each one was crucial to the inspiration and worked perfectly!
Gina & Chris - Pitt River Dike Lookout
Gina wanted her engagement photos to look like a mountain elopement, and that's what we did! Throughout the shoot, we fought out hundreds of mosquitoes and navigated around the muddy grasslands at the lookout for these stunning wanderlust-vibed photos. The session perfectly shows off their fun and adventurous spirits.
Andrea & Zack - Neck Point in Nanaimo, BC
The inspiration for this was; fun, wild, and free in the West Coast. Andrea and Zack are both outgoing and adventurous people and wanted that reflected in their engagement. They picked the perfect location for us to run around and enjoy the stunning sunset at!
Erika & Behnam - Whyecliff Park, West Vancouver
My second time working with these two, earlier in the year we had shot at Stanley Park but due to incredibly heavy traffic issues we missed golden hour and had to shoot after the sunset. So to make it up to the couple I offered to work with them again so we could get those creamy golden hour photos Erika wanted! I personally think the traffic was just a way of the universe telling me I needed to work with them again, and Whytecliff did not disappoint!
Breanne & Nick - Rainy Day at Beacon Hill Park
Breanne and Nick wanted their session rain or shine. We honestly had so much fun in the rain, they were the first couple I have met who was hoping for rain on their wedding day too! I loved their playful attitudes throughout this entire shoot, we ran through fields, jumped in puddles, and soaked in the fresh spring weather.
Marissa & Chase - Whytecliff Park Couple Shoot
Living close by Whytecliff Park is honestly such a blessing, I love this location so much and so many of my clients want to shoot here. It offers such a great variety of scenery which is what these two wanted! They wanted a spot that offered either the ocean or the woods and mountains, thankfully Whytecliff has the perfect balance of all of these elements.
Iris & Chris - Granville Island with the Pups
The best way to avoid the crowds for urban sessions is to get there early on a Sunday morning. You can still get a bit of that early-day golden light and not have to worry about it being overly crowded. Iris and Chris wanted a place where they could have fun with their dogs and also where they could go and enjoy after the session. We spent the time roaming the outskirts of the market then went and got goodies inside after the shoot was finished.
Rebecca & Aaron - Beacon Hill & Finlayson Point
Before their big destination wedding, these two wanted to have an engagement session in their home of Victoria, BC. We spent the session at two of my favorite locations in Victora; the flag pole hill behind Beacon Hill Park and Finlayson Point. These two locations are perfect for couple sessions. Only a short walk from each other and they offer what so many couples, like these two, are looking for in a location - not too crowded, open space to move around in, and ocean views.
